Blog Manager – Brown Girls Do Ballet
Brown Girls Do Ballet is a non-profit organization that started as an Instagram photo project. The majority of its content was targeted toward its social media audience, leaving its website’s blog overlooked and out of date. As the organization’s Blog Manager, I write, edit, and publish consistent blog articles, interviews, and press releases, showcasing the organization’s accomplishments, announcements, and involvements.
I strive to position the organization as a reliable resource for young ballerinas of color who seek advice and encouragement for their dancing careers. My goal is to expand Brown Girls Do Ballet’s reach in hopes to connect with more ballerinas and generate leads for potential donors.
