I am the “Artsy Friend.”
You know – the friend who flakes on Friday night festivities because she’s on the brink of a creative epiphany? The one who repurposes everything – from spaghetti jars to empty hair gel containers – and has a playlist for every mood? Yep, that’s me. I feel most alive and free when I’m creating. I truly believe there is no limit to what you can do when you let your creative juices flow.
I dabble in photography, graphic design, film, watercolor painting, and interior design. Despite my many artistic interests, writing has been the apple of my eye since I was 9 years old. What started out as dramatic short stories ripped from spiral notebooks and bound by staples and scotch tape has since evolved into a lifestyle blog and career.
For me, writing is therapeutic. It’s a timeless tool for spreading knowledge and wisdom to others. It’s a simple, yet promising form of manifestation. Above all, it’s the most fulfilling way for me to express my true self.
I have a Bachelor of Science in English with a creative writing concentration and a career background in client relations and operations. I have a combined 7 years of experience in editing, blogging, social media content creation, and professional writing in a corporate environment. I’ve written or edited content for a variety of clients, including first-time authors, minority-owned non-profits, and an Emmy-nominated web-series.
See what I’ve been up to…
